Fresh beginnings

Beginnings are always beautiful. Fresh, clear, crisp energy!

So this is how I feel with this blog, although I'm dead tired and had far too much coffee to stay awake. This blog is in English... sorry to all my German readers who were used to reading my other blog in German (http://greenwood.interblog.de), but that's how it is now, for different reasons.

Into the forest - which one? Well, this is the forest of my real life (about to move into an old forestry mansion) as well as the mythological wildwood, the magical greenwood, where the trees of poetry whisper ancient memories and where wild spirits, goddesses, animals and plants dwell.

The path into this forest will be strewn with fragments of my life, of things and people that have touched me, I will post about books that mark signposts through the trees in places where the way becomes obscured by lurking shadows and hunting predators.

I invite you to join me here, dear readers - take a deep breath, stretch your back and leave old luggage behind, the forest likes travellers who walk lightly and step gently. Come now, it's time!
